This month’s bird is the Common Raven. This month’s challenge was finding a lot of color in an essentially black bird!

The fiber this month is Charollais. This is a French breed with wool that is around 30 microns and a short- about 2 inches long- staple. It is VERY crimpy and feels like a sponge- super fun. Woolen spinning will be fun on this one!
